I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!!!!!

Can you believe all this snow. It is great!!!!! It looks like its going to be a white Christmas this year. The boys went out and enjoyed a snowball fight with dad. Dad won of course! Even though if you ask Chris he would say that they won. Chad buried both the boys in the snow all they had uncovered were there heads. Kaylie is sick but she went out to enjoy the snow for a little bit. She played in the snow with dad for a minute. He helped her snowboard and sled on the hills in the front yard. We have received about 9 to 10 inches of new snow today and it is still snowing.

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Let It Snow!!

Finally we got snow!! It was a nice surprise to wake up to several inches of snow this morning. The kids were so excited! They put on all their winter gear to go to school and couldn't wait to play in it. Kaylie didn't have school so she got to go out and play in it before it started to melt. When the boys got home from school Chris went outside and played with Kaylie (what a nice big brother) and Cade was off to his friends. Hopefully we will continue to get snow. A white Christmas is always nice.

Kaylie's Dance Recital

We just got home from Kaylies Christmas dance recital. It went so good. She did a great job. Her dance was a cowgirl dance. She looked adorable. Kaitlyn may be our next dancer. She sang and danced through the whole thing. The kids visited with Santa after and got candy canes. It was a nice afternoon.

Thanksgiving went great! It was nice to get the chance to visit with the families and to spend sometime together as a family. It seems with how busy day to day stuff is we don't have much time to spend together. Now the countdown to Christmas is on. I really need to get going on the Christmas shopping. The kids are really excited that this is Kaitlyns first Christmas. They have already been talking about her opening presents. She will be 11 months on Christmas so she should be able to enjoy it. She loves paper so opening gifts should be a blast for her.
Kaitlyn took her first steps by herself this week and is pushing Kaylies shopping cart all over the front room and kitchen. She might be walking soon. Kaitlyn also loves to sing and dance. Whenever she hears music she sings along with it while dancing. If she gets fussy or has a hard time going to sleep we turn on the ipod and she sings a little and goes to sleep. It is way cute!

Cade was baptized on Saturday and it went really good. He was really excited about it. Chad did his baptism and the confirmation. He was really nervous but he did a great job :) Thanks to all of those who were able to come.
Merry Christmas to everyone!

Halloween was alot fun. The weather this year was perfect. The kids went trick or treating and got alot of candy. Chris was Sirius Black, Cade was black Spiderman, Kaylie was the Good Witch and Kaitlyn was a witch. Cade had his birthday party the day after Halloween and it went good. He really enjoyed his time with his friends. Kaylie had her birthday party the Monday after and we had a house full. She had 17 friends show up and they all had fun. It was a busy week but a fun one too.

Mascot Bowl 2008

We went to the Mascot Bowl at the Lehi High School. The kids had a lot of fun getting autographs and pictures with the mascots. This was a football game they could all enjoy watching. We weren't prepared for how long it lasted but all went well. Next year we know what to plan for :)
